Bona Nordic Seal Red Oak. We have southern red oak floors and are so hesitant to lighten them with bona nordic seal or natural seal, the finished floors just always look red in every video we've seen. Bona nordic seal is one of our favorite products to use on white oak because it subtly lightens the wood without compromising its beautiful natural characteristics.
We would get 3 gallons per coat. Frequently, we use bona nordic seal to bring out that lovely light brown/beige, neutral tone of white oak that everyone loves. Bona nordicseal has 2x more pigment than bona naturalseal, offering a safer way to lighten up the color of red oak, taking out some of the pink undertones, giving it a closer.
